Shit God Says in the Bible

Moses circumcisionAt a lodging place on the way, the Lord met Moses and was about to kill him. But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it. “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,” she said. So the Lord let him alone. (At that time she said “bridegroom of blood,” referring to circumcision.)” – Exodus 4:24-26

What kind of a stupid, lame childish god is offended by foreskin?

And what kind of an abusive, selfish, narcissistic sociopathic asshole threatens to murder you if you do not cut off the foreskin that he, as the god, allegedly created himself??

Do you get that people:  God creates foreskins.  He then says they must come off (even though he could have just omitted them in the first place, see) and then when someone doesn’t take them off, he threatens to murder them?

Seriously – I can’t begin to describe the failed logic in this one and the sheer cruelty of such a logic, if the words logic and religion even go together. Think about this:  who creates you one way, sets the rules deliberately at the exact opposite, waits for you to mess up and else sets you up for “failure” and then proceed to horribly punish you if you do, in fact,  mess up?

This is the kind of stuff that gets me about religion and the legions of religious people who just (blindly) follow their religion, either conveniently omitting the parts they don’t like or genuinely not being aware of them or worse, be aware of them and just make excuses for them.

And what gets me even more is that people are apparently really that needy and stupid, really, to either believe such an asshole god is either real or worse, divine.

Brad Pitt Mother’s Anti Same-Sex Marriage, Anti Obama, Anti Abortion Letter to the Editor

Last month, the News-Leader in Springfield, Missouri, published a reader’s letter asking voters to reject Mitt Romney because of his Mormon faith.

In response, a woman named Jane Pitt, the mother of Springfield-born actor and gay marriage activist Brad Pitt, wrote a response lambasting the letter, “Barack Hussein Obama” and marriage equality.

She said:

I have given much thought to Richard Stoecker’s letter (“Vote for Mormon against beliefs,” June 15). I am also a Christian and differ with the Mormon religion.

But I think any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon.

Any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney’s opponent, Barack Hussein Obama — a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.

I hope all Christians give their vote prayerful consideration because voting is a sacred privilege and a serious responsibility.

Ah yes, religious people.

This is yet another piece of evidence, in a long list of pieces of evidence,  of why religion is just bad for human kind. Bad, bad, bad – in every imaginable way possible. It is like a cult, no it is a cult, that has taken over like the fucking invasion of the bodysnatchers or something. Everyone is either doing it, for it, advocating it or apologizing for it (i.e. “but no not all religious people are like that“). Umm., yes they are. Some just aren’t vocal about it but they all believe the same kind of crap essentially.

Jane Pitt is entitled to her opinion and she is also entitled to send letters to editors if she wants or, for that matter, use any other means possible to make her opinions known. This is a free country after all where even uneducated, ignorant women like her have the right to say what is on their mind.

But this isn’t about freedom of speech. This is about a bigot once again engaging in hate speech and advocating for the discrimination of a group of people (i.e. gays) she doesn’t know and who have not done her any harm, under the guise of free speech.  This is bigtory and narrow mindedness at its height and the fact that she is the mother of a famous person is problematic because there is real impact associated with her name. In other words, people will listen to her bigoted shit and she is not someone anyone should listen to.

Being entitled to your own opinion does not mean you are also entitled to your own facts.

What exactly about her letter is ignorant, uneducated and hateful you ask? I find this particular passage quite revealing:

[Romney is] a man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality

The truth is that Romney is not a man with high moral convictions. His company and business practices (corporate raiding) have rendered tens of thousands of people, if not more, jobless and destitute. Yeah sure, he didn’t pull the trigger on them, like the Unabomber – whom Harvard did not even want to mention in its alumni directory – but his actions have caused hardship, sickness and even death to thousands of people. Thus they carry weight and consequences far from that of a man with “high moral convictions. ” And I promise you they won’t take Rommey’s name off the Harvard alumni directory.

The only business experience Romney has is acquiring companies, loading them up with debt, pushing them into bankruptcy, then laying people off and canceling their health benefits. As governor of Massachusetts he did the same thing: his party ruined the economy, he cut education, raised fees on the middle class to benefit the wealthy and his state ranked 47 in job creation.

The stud, his blood-drawing, vial-of-blood-around-the-neck piece and his homophobic bigot of a mother.

Mitt Romney is also not against abortion, nor could he cares less about the unborn or even born – as clearly expemlpified by his track record.  Mitt Romney is a narrow-minded, religious bigot and misogynist who, in essence, has no respect for women and love for womanhood in essence. Sure, he loves his wife, as long as she doesn’t overstep her boundaries and knows her place I guess. But his support of cuts for Planned Parenthood -whose majority of work consists of disease prevention and health promotion and very little abortion – and his support of the recent anti-woman legislation including the transvaginal ultrasound probing of women who seek an abortion, speak volumes about him and his views on women.

So, this isn’t about abortion and he is using abortion – like all misogynists do – as a stepping stone for his political agenda. If he cared about the unborn, he would not enact policies or advocate for enacting policies that leave their parents destitute. Just being against abortion but fucking people over after they are born is not a sign of high moral character.

Finally, his “Christian” convictions on homosexuality are that gays should be treated as second class citizens and human beings and if he could he would round them all up – like that baptist pastor advocated a few weeks ago – and cage them behind electrified fences until “they die out.”

The fact that despite all the evidence supporting the contrary, Brad Pitt’s fucking mother – who is a stupid, uneducated woman apparently not knowing much of anything – thinks that Romney is just a great guy and faithful Christian with a high moral character is what is truly upsetting here. In other words, the ignorance is that woman’s letter is mind boggingly staggering. And the fact that she sends a letter to the editor scolding people who don’t want to vote for Romney based on the above mentioned criteria as bad people and bad Christians, trying to shame them, is what is even more infuriating. There certainly is nothing Christ-like about this woman.

When she puts something like that out there, people have every right – and in her case every duty – to speak up.

Furthermore, with celebrity and fame comes power and with power comes responsibility. Jane Pitt knows her credibility goes up when she uses her name that is associated to her A-lister son.  There is no way she was not aware of this when she send in the letter. In the day and age of celebrity gossip and TMZ it is beyond naive to think that as a a celebrity or the relative of a celebrity, the things you do and say will go unnoticed.

Now the minions and faithful followers of her son in this country  have a real dilema: do they listen to the mother of the hottest man alive and superb actor who’s about to marry the greatest humanitarian with a gold plated  vagina and uterus of all times, or do they think for themselves?

Three things  To Get Out of This

1) Religion is bad for people, no matter what. I present to you exhibit number 345,667,567: Jane Pitt

2) Brad Pitt should be seriously ashamed of his mother. I mean really…ashamed to the ground.

3) Now I really hope Shiloh is going to turn out to be either a full-blown bull dyke or transgender candidate to make her Christian grandmother with Chrisitan values and a high moral character very, very proud.

Kim Kardashian Defends her Fame-Whoring As Hard Work. Proves Jon Hamm Right Five Minutes Later

Jon Hamm, in a recent interview with ELLE UK, slammed Kim Kuntrashian’s ass harder than Ray J when he said that “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated […] Being a fucking idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.” He went on to say that “Incuriousness has become cool… It’s celebrated. It doesn’t make sense to me.

Hamm’s statement, while harsh,  hits the nail right on the head. Just a few months ago, Kuntrashian was given 17 million dollars for faking a for-profit 72 day marriage and everything she has been doing since that sex video of hers that accidentally on purpose hit the ether, has been as a result of the moronic vacuousness she’s been spreading and celebrating.

She and her sisters will do whatever it takes to stay in the limelight. As long as Kim can selfishly profit from her celebrity status, nothing is sacred. Be it her vaginal opening and labia we all got to see when she made the sex tape that shot her to fame, or her sister schlepping the camera team to her gynecologist when she had a pelvic exam, or even when they took the camera crew to the cemetery where her father is buried; nothing is sacred for these bitches.

With these kinds of stunts, as well as aligning herself with brands and products to promote,  Kim K has made millions. She has no talent, no education, no brains and contributes nothing even remotely worthwhile to the world she inhabits. She is a parasite at best and Hamm was right with his comments about her idiocy getting unduly rewarded.

Khloe Kuntrashian getting a pelvic exam with half the E! film crew in tow.

But Hamm is not the only who has come out against cultural vulchers such as Kardassian. In November, actor Daniel Craig also referred to the Kardashians as “fuckking idiots” when expressing his distaste for reality television to British GQ. Likewise, actor Jonah Hill told The Huffington Post in December, “The fact that the Kardashians could be more popular than a show like ‘Mad Men’ is disgusting. It’s super disgusting to be a part of that culture.”

Hearing her name in the news and immediately thinking about another publicity stunt she can squeeze out of this, Kim tweeted this today in response to Hamm’s remarks:

I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview. I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless

Fame Whoring is hard Work

Kim K is right, it takes  cleverness and ambition to get someone to pay you millions of dollars for things like getting your hair and make up done, shopping, being photographed and attending award shows while promoting everything that pays you a dime. But isn’t it taking a little too far to state that she owns her own business? Yes, she is the highest grossing cash cow in the Karadashian whore ranch, but Mama Kris runs the show and she determines the rates.

And if I am correct, before becoming “famous” for being a pissed-on whore she had her daddy give her money so she can open her own boutique.

And ripping off the designs of others does not make you a “designer” either, just as executive producing a reality show that ran for 8 episodes  doesn’t make you a producer.

The only thing Kim has ever created, besides superficiality and greed, someone else paid for and no, having your publicist write your blog entries that consist of you promoting something or giving make up tips does not make you a writer either bimbette.

Jon Hamm is On to Something

The irony, of course, is that five minutes after politely slapping Hamm over Twitter for calling her a fucking idiot that promotes an idiot culture, she posted pouty pictures of herself in a blonde wig, wondering how’d she look like with blonde hair and then went on posting some more pics of her barely clothed and with blonde hair, wondering the same question for the remainder of the day.

So is Hamm really that far off? You have to look at the bigger picture here, as there is a broader canvas that Hamm was referencing. I mean, we live in a culture where a man who runs for president and actually wins a few primaries holds the notion that wanting our citizens to be educated and to go to college makes a person “a snob” who’s trying to “indoctrinate you” and telling you how to live your life. One in which the Vice Presidential running mate believes that you can see Russia from your backyard and who is so devoid of ideas and core principles (i.e. doesn’t know what she’s talking about) that she has to write notes on her hand to remind her of what she actually should be saying during a public address.

We live in a culture in which 52 percent of  Mississippi Republicans believe that the President of the United States is a Muslim. Where we pretend that a warlord on the African continent can be taken down by liking a movie on Facebook.

One in which nearly 80 percent (!) of the population believes in Creationism, which is the notion that god created human beings pretty much in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years and where 70 percent believe that a  presidential candidate’s views on evolution are not really relevant and therefore should not be discussed as part of the campaign (but where nearly 80% believe that their religious beliefs, on the other hand, are relevant and should be discussed as part of the campaign).

We live in a culture in which over 50 percent of Americans, that is half the population, believe that god created man exactly how the Bible describes it (Source: Gallup)

And Kim Kardashian exists in this country, within this very culture. Her political counterpart Sarah Palin gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for spreading misinformation. And Kim gets paid millions to be on TV and talk about how itchy her Botox makes her and her sister’s rate of sexual intercourse with her husband and how well he is endowed.

Of course Hamm is not suggesting that the above mentioned is Kardashian’s fault. And she does contribute to charity (which also makes for a nice tax write off, but that’s another story). But a woman who’s made millions making a sex tape where someone peed on her face, and who thinks that “the worst thing on the planet” is wearing the wrong foundation and whose life consists of giving make up tips, partying and injecting Botox at the age of 29 (thus also setting a horrible example for teens following her), is not someone who is contributing to raise the collective IQ of the nation.

She is the quintessential product of  the stupidity-rewarding, greed-promoting and moronic Jersey Shore culture of this nation.

So, memo to Kim: when you are famous for being a pissed on whore with perfect foundation, you really should be happy that you continue to get a paycheck and not tweet challenge someone who actually does have an ounce of brain and then prove his point by Tweeting a picture of yourself doing exactly what he accused you of being.
